What a wonderful day out! A group of our residents and team members from GenCare Federal Way took a little adventure to Rafiki African Restaurant in Kent. Great food, great company, and lots of smiles all around. Moments like these remind us how special it is to share new experiences together

🪴New Dementia Support Group at GenCare Federal Way🪴
Starting May 15, we’re opening our doors to families who are walking the dementia journey with someone they love.
Whether you’re supporting a spouse, a parent, or another family member, you don’t have to navigate this alone. Our monthly group offers a safe, compassionate space to share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who truly understand.

The group is lead by Racheal Payne our Memory Care Director. She has over 13 years specializing in memory care, supporting individuals living with dementia and their families with compassion, dignity and respect.
If you or someone you know could benefit from this group, we welcome you to join us. You are not alone in this.

✨🎶🎤What a beautiful day in our PEAK Memory Care✨❤️
We were honored to welcome the talented choir students from Meeker Middle School in Tacoma. The kids shared their voices, their smiles, and their time-singing for our Memory Care residents and then hanging out to chat, laugh, and connect.
The music brought back memories, sparked joy, and filled our community with so much warmth. Moments like these remind us how powerful intergenerational connections can be.❤️
Thank you to these amazing students and their teachers for bringing such heart and happiness into our home. You truly made our residents day!

🌱🌻Growing Something Special at GenCare Federal Way! 🌺🍃
Our Garden Committee recently met for a hands on seed starting session, and the excitement is already sprouting! This growing season, we’re planting the seeds for a beautiful vegetable and fruit garden, a cheerful sunflower garden and a colorful flower garden for everyone to enjoy. We can’t wait to watch these gardens - and our community -grow together🌻🍅
