Fall is officially here in the PNW, and while I’m all for the pumpkins, cozy blankets, and cooler days… your home could use a little seasonal attention too. 🍂🏡

A few simple fall maintenance tasks now can help prevent bigger, more expensive surprises later. Downsizing doesn’t have to mean giving something up. Sometimes, it’s about making room for more of the things you actually want your time, money, and energy to go toward.

I’ve worked with a lot of people who start thinking about downsizing long before they’re actually ready to make a move. It usually starts with little things — realizing there are rooms you rarely use, the yard has become more work than enjoyment, or you start wondering if it really makes sense to keep paying for a home that no longer fits the way you live.

And then there’s the big question: But where would we go?

That’s where I think the conversation should start. Not with a listing. Not with a timeline. Just with figuring out what you want this next chapter to look like and whether a different home could make life a little easier.

Earlier this year, we helped Tammy purchase a home in Auburn that gave her the space and flexibility she needed for her family. Now, we’ve officially closed the door on another chapter — the sale of her previous home in Tacoma.

And what a home it was. Truly cared for, beautifully finished, and sitting in an incredibly desirable area. But as we all know, having a great home in a great location isn’t always enough — especially in a shifting market.

So we got to work.

We staged the home to highlight its best features, paid attention to what the market was telling us, and made adjustments when they were needed. And once negotiations got underway, we had a buyer who knew this was the one. Tammy knew it, too. She knew how special this home was.

Getting here took patience, strategy, and a whole lot of trust. I’m so grateful Tammy trusted my team and me to navigate this sale with her.

The new homeowners are going to love this home — and we’re so thankful Tammy trusted us through another big move. ❤️

This one moved FAST. ⚡

Leo and I have worked together time and time again, and I’m always grateful to be a resource for him when it comes to all things home and real estate — whether he’s buying, selling, or looking at his next investment opportunity.

This time, we went pending in just DAYS, had multiple offers, and closed in TWO WEEKS with an ALL-CASH offer. INSANE!
