• Test it at the hours people use it. Easy by day can feel crowded at night or in peak summer.
• Count the tradeoffs. Closer to town can mean less privacy, tighter parking, and more noise.
• Match the premium to the plan. If the stay works without a car, walkability matters more.

Another milestone! Commercial Real Estate!

I’m excited to share that I’ve officially completed Century 21’s Commercial Real Estate program and am now have my Commercial Real Estate designation!

Commercial real estate is a different world from residential — with its own language, financial models, market dynamics, valuation methods, and complexities. The program provided a deep dive into the fundamentals of commercial transactions from the perspective of the owner, investor, buyer, and seller.

I learned how to evaluate the different types of commercial properties, understand rentable space and valuation, analyze investments, and better understand the financial and market dynamics that drive commercial real estate.

While our Lakeshore community doesn’t have an enormous amount of commercial inventory or opportunities compared to larger markets, I want to position myself to understand every aspect of real estate, not just the residential side of the business. I believe the more I understand about development, investment, commercial properties, land, and the financial side of real estate, the better resource I can be for my clients — and for our community.

For me, this is about continuing to learn, grow, and build a broader foundation for the future.

Next stop: Broker’s License!

I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and excited about where this journey is taking me.
