In celebration of spirit week, we began with a sock hop on Monday. A mouth-watering lunch was provided by Chef Don, featuring a drive-in style burger and fries basket along with a creamy chocolate shake. The extremely talented Bryan Dixon, the BEST ELVIS impersonator on this side of the Mississippi, entertained us, prompting energetic dancing and singing. It was a memorable afternoon celebrating the spirit of the 1950s.

🐾 PLEASE HELP US FIND A BELOVED LOCKWOOD RESIDENT’S CAT 🐾

The Lockwood family is asking for your help.

During a fire drill on Tuesday, a resident’s beloved cat became frightened and slipped away. Despite days of searching, he has not yet been found, and her owner is devastated.

For many seniors, a pet is far more than an animal—they are a companion, a source of comfort, and family. This sweet cat has been a faithful friend and loving companion, and her absence is being deeply felt.

We are asking everyone in the surrounding community to please keep an eye out. Scared indoor cats often hide in quiet places such as under decks, porches, bushes, sheds, garages, and wooded areas close to where they went missing.

Please take a moment to check around your property and share this post with friends, family, and neighbors. Every person who sees this post becomes another chance to bring this cherished pet home.

If you see him, please do not chase him. Instead, note the location and contact the phone number listed below immediately.

What an impressive day! Our Open House was an overwhelming success, which is why we didn't capture many photos. However, we're pleased to share the ones we did take. The event featured fun games, a photo booth, cotton candy, root beer floats, live music by Mary and Jerry, and hotdogs grilled by Dan and Kristie from corporate. We extend our sincere gratitude to Power Back for sponsoring the root beer floats, as well as Optimal Care, College Hunks Moving Company, and Community Threads Homestead for their generous donations of gift baskets.
