🏡 ST. LOUIS REOPENS PROGRAM OFFERING UP TO $50K FOR FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS 💰
Now this right here could be life-changing for a lot of people trying to finally become homeowners in the city.
The City of St. Louis has officially reopened the HomeSTL program, which helps first-time homebuyers with up to $50,000 in assistance through a no-interest, forgivable loan. Officials say the program is designed to help people purchase homes inside St. Louis City.
According to reports, qualified buyers can receive up to $40,000, while certain areas may qualify for an additional $10,000, bringing the total to $50,000. The loan comes with no monthly payments and can eventually be forgiven over time if requirements are met.
To qualify, applicants must be first-time homebuyers, meaning they haven’t owned a home in the last three years, and the property must be located within St. Louis City.
We always talk about generational wealth, and homeownership is one of the biggest ways people build it. With rent continuing to rise, a lot of people say programs like this could finally give families a real opportunity to own something instead of paying somebody else’s mortgage every month.
