People are asking me, " What's happening in the Real Estate world right now and do I think the mortgage interest rates will go down or up?" So I'm sharing some good information from my friend Paul Gregory at Coast to Coast mortgage :

In summary, the rates, according to Mortgage News Daily (MDN) sounds positive!

Despite the volatility we have been experiencing in the market the mortgage rates are holding steady.

I quote MND: "the average top tier 30yr fixed rate is at 6.16%. Apart from the week of Jan 12-16th, this is right in line with the lowest levels going back to early 2023".

I'm thrilled for my sellers! Their beautiful home is now under contract, and we expect to close in March. While we'll miss the current owners as they move closer to their family, we can't wait to welcome the new owners into this fantastic neighborhood!
