I'm afraid Amelia's Facebook fans aren't being updated as I thought. So wanted you to know the gate along with the fire alarm system was struck by lightning the main panels to both were hit. Fire alarm board was local and replaced the other day. The main panel for gate new ones in route from California, prior to CA not sure. The old one is being analyzed according to our gate man for a possible fault with it. Please bare with and if anyone sees anybody that doesn't belong here or doing things that are illegal please call the sheriff's department. I'm asking them to step up patrols for us while our gate is out of order. Thanks for your patience yet again. Have a great weekend!

WEEKEND UPDATE!!!

I have prepared and forwarded to the Board for their consideration a Scope of Work for the paving project so we can begin to get bids.

I have also finalized the Proposal for the pool furniture project and forwarded the Proposal to the Board for consideration.

Next week I will begin the gate card/code audit. Just be aware if you have any problems I am available to help. I will only be off property one day next week so that I can be here to assist should problems arise.

As you’ve probably seen, Doug and Dawson are working on trimming the palm trees. And, they will begin repainting the fire hydrants this coming week.

*************DRYER VENT CLEANING***************
If you are interested in dryer vent cleaning for $25 each vent, please let me know. I’m coordinating this on behalf of the owners as a courtesy (plus I know the vent cleaning people). We need to have at least 59 to do at one time to get that price. Contact me by phone, text, email or drop by next week if you are interested.

I notice a couple pet disposals didn’t have bags. I put a small roll in those until I can reach Martex tomorrow to find out why these are empty. I have an idea to resolve this continual issue & will be forwarding it to the Board.

Recently, I’ve been asked repetitively about two things. The windows and dryer vents.

The windows are not the responsibility of the HOA. That is an Owner responsibility. I clarified that today.

Dryer vents are also the owners responsibility. I’ve had many ask about having it done.

If you are interested in having your vent cleaned, please let me know. If I can get a big enough group it will help with cost and timing.

I have someone who will do them for $25 a vent as long as we can make it worthwhile for him to come do them.

With TS Eta approaching, I just wanted to remind you guys that while I don’t anticipate we will have any significant issues (ie tree falls on a bldg), if you do please call the office at 524-6267.

Be sure to leave a message if I don’t answer. I will call you back within 5 minutes.

Also, we do expect some wind in the realm of 30-40 mph, as well as some torrential downpours tomorrow beginning midday through the evening.

If you have lightweight furniture on your patio or deck, I would suggest bringing it inside as a precaution.

Just another reminder about masks as we approach flu season and increasing covid concerns...

You know we have a large high risk population here and remain committed to keeping y’all safe.

For the sake of these folks, we strongly encourage the use of masks inside common facilities.

I was at the gym briefly tonight and I was so impressed to see 3 residents using the disinfectant being provided at the gym.

Thank you guys for doing your part to keep our Community safe.
