First for everything! Routine home check that I've done a 100 times checking the salt level for a water softener that happens to be located outside under an enclosed staircase. Merrily going along on a beautiful breezy day checking under the staircase when I nonchalantly hear the door shut behind me. And then suddenly the horror hits me! There is NO WAY OUT! 😳 LOCKED IN! Thank God I had my phone with me and it wasn't dark outside. 20 minutes later, my hero husband shows up to save me! 🥰 As I peered through the slats and re-evaluated my life, a string on that latch became my #1 priority! 😁
