What an incredible evening celebrating the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of our new Century 21 Miller Elite office!

Gina and I were especially grateful to look around the room and see people representing every part of the journey that has helped us get here, including our clients, agents, family, friends, business partners, and members of our community. Having each of those groups represented meant a great deal to us, and weโ€™re equally thankful for the encouragement and support of so many others who werenโ€™t able to be there with us that evening.

It was also incredibly special to have Bobby and Carol Ferreira there with us. More than 20 years ago, they gave me an opportunity to get started in this industry, and I had the privilege of working with them for more than 17 years. Their guidance and mentorship played an important role in shaping the Realtor and business owner I am today, and over the years, they became much more than mentors. They became family. Having them there to celebrate this next chapter with us meant more than I can put into words.

This new location represents much more than a new building. It represents the continued growth of our company, the people who have trusted us with their real estate needs, and our commitment to serving this community for many years to come.

One of the most important things we do each year isn't showing homes or writing contracts.

It's taking the time to step back, evaluate where we've been, and intentionally plan for where we're going.

Earlier this week, our team came together to begin planning for 2027 - looking at what worked, identifying opportunities to improve, and finding new ways to provide an even better experience for the buyers and sellers who trust us.

Real estate is always evolving, and I believe the best way to serve my clients is to keep learning, keep adapting, and never stop looking for ways to improve.

There are still plenty of families to help and goals to accomplish before this year comes to a close, but planning ahead allows us to be better prepared for what's next.

Because great service doesn't happen by chance.

It happens through preparation, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous growth.

I'm excited about what's ahead and grateful to be part of a team that's always looking for ways to better serve our community.

The market continues to shift, and while the weekly numbers only tell part of the story, they can give us valuable insight into where things may be headed.

This past week, inventory remained relatively steady, but I also noticed fewer new listings coming to market and fewer homes going under contract.

At the same time, mortgage rates have been trending back toward the 7% range, which may be causing some buyers and sellers to take a more cautious approach as we head into the fall season.

Does that mean you should wait?

Not necessarily.

Every real estate decision should be based on your goals, your timeline, and your financial situation - not just what's happening in the headlines.

That's why I encourage my clients to look beyond the weekly numbers and understand how today's market affects their opportunities.
