Most car care 🚗 lists tell you to check the oil and tire pressure. Here are a few things people forget:

✓ Check the spare tire, or make sure your inflator kit is actually there and usable
✓ Clean the INSIDE of the windshield to reduce haze and nighttime glare
✓ Make sure the jack and lug-wrench tools are where they’re supposed to be
✓ Charge your portable jump pack if you carry one
✓ Check that washer nozzles are spraying where they should

Not exciting, but you’ll be very happy you checked these before the day you actually need them.

Here’s a curb appeal trick that works surprisingly well: take a photo of your house from across the street.

Looking at the photo 📸 instead of the house itself makes visual clutter much easier to notice.

A few things to look for:
✓ Can you clearly see the house numbers?
✓ Is anything blocking the front door or walkway?
✓ Do hoses, bins or tools draw your eye?
✓ Are there dead plants or empty planters?
✓ Does the entry still look welcoming after dark?

It’s basically the 10-second buyer test... and it can reveal things you stopped noticing a long time ago.
