Built around 1998(?), this old deck had sure seen better days! Sorry the before pictures are a bit limiting!
Client opted for a synthetic product to reduce maintenance , so we went with the Trex Trancend line. This model uses hidden fasteners, and has a bit of "grain" texture to improve traction.
Picture framed steps and perimeter benches finish off the build.
The complete structure was demo'd and rebuilt with all new materials.
A couple years later, we were invited back out to add this beautiful redwood pergola to help create a little bit of shade!

New Deck Build! Homeowners had already added the French door in preparation for this build. Perimeter benches add additional seating for this awesome entertaining space.
Propane was plumbed in for a fire table as well as BBQ.

Here's where the project began!
A well intentioned gutter had sagged and began to run against the house. It went unnoticed for many years and caused extensive rot! While time consuming and costly to repair, saving the house was financially and emotionally the right move for the property owner!

A little before and after on a project saving another old home. This home was the client's grandmother's house, but has been neglected for a few years. This back stoop has sunken and tilted towards the house, allowing water to pour into the foundation instead of away. The sill and rim were heavily rotted. We removed and repaired all the rot, and replaced the old crumbled concrete stoop with a beautiful new redwood landing!

Privacy Screens!
Newer neighborhood, and as homes were built on the next street over, the homeowner lost all sense of privacy on their patio. The addition of a louver system adds a beautiful touch that provides shade in the heat of the afternoon as well!

Irrigation Pumphouse Build
A new local vineyard required the addition of a pumphouse for the irrigation system for the grapes. It was a time consuming project, as the concrete had to be done in stages in order to install the water lines as we went along.
Once all the equipment was installed, we were then able to build the structure around it. A fairly straightforward lean-to, tied into the existing farm pumphouse
