Anyone else in Millard County sleep with their windows open last night? 🙋‍♀️

That cool breeze after the rain felt SO good, we opened up the whole house to sleep.

Big mistake when the mountain in your backyard just burned up. 😭🔥

Woke up this morning and my entire house is covered in ash. 🤦‍♀️😭

Apparently that nice cool breeze brought a little bit of the mountain inside with it. 😂

These homes often come on the market at a reduced price, but they can have additional requirements. Some require cash buyers. With this particular property, the seller required every buyer to prequalify with the bank’s lender—even if they planned to use a different lender.

Bank-owned homes are typically sold as-is, with no seller disclosures. That makes a thorough inspection especially important so you understand exactly what you’re buying.

If you’re interested in purchasing a bank-owned home, here’s my advice: Get ready now! Be prequalified with a lender and have your down payment ready—or have the funds available to purchase with cash.

Banks want these properties off their books. In most cases, a cash buyer is the stronger buyer, so you need to be prepared to act quickly when the right property becomes available.
