Exciting news for Barefoot families! Big Sky PK–8 is opening just three miles up the road in Mead for the 2026–27 school year, giving Barefoot kids a brand-new place to learn, grow, and thrive.

Part of the highly rated St. Vrain Valley Schools, the new school will feature state-of-the-art learning spaces, a rigorous curriculum, and an unbelievably awesome climbing wall. Go, Bison!

Three Grow & Gather events have happened at Barefoot, and we think it’s safe to say that a summer tradition has taken root. We’ve loved inviting residents and visitors out to our community to support local artisans, listen to live music, enjoy food trucks — and tour our models.

Our next Grow & Gather will be this Friday, August 14th from 5–8pm. And come early, because the 2026 Parade of Homes is in full swing too with models open until 6pm!

The annual Parade of Homes begins today through August 23rd, Thursdays-Sundays from 12pm-5pm! And Barefoot Village has 8 beautiful Parade homes in one beautiful location. With townhomes, paired homes, cottages, and single-family homes, at a range of prices, there’s something for everyone.
