Wyoming Mule Deer 2023 | Part II |

After hunting hard the first four days of the trip and only spotting does, the fifth morning finally yielded a buck. We put him to bed, waited a few hours, and drew up a game plan to close the distance. That evening we bombed off the mountain 1,200 feet to the bottom and everything came together, as @ k Michael Ray was able to take his first Mule Deer ever. Twenty-four hours later I was able to take a beautiful buck as well. This chain of events generated a couple of late night pack outs that led to 2 a.m. bedtimes, but I wouldn’t change a damn thing. Wyoming has produced yet another unforgettable experience!
