Closing #2 today was w my buddy Rob who I sold a new DR Horton house to in May. Well now we sold his other home and well, Rob is a tough guy but he got a little emotional at the closing table. He grew up in this home since he was 7. He and his parents were the first to live in this custom built home in 1967. His mom passed away 4 years ago so he moved in and fixed it up and now it was just time to move on. It was pretty stressful for him so I got him a bottle of Crown Royal... That oughtta help! 😊

Closing #1 today is the best day for Braden, Alisa and my little buddy Christian because I finally got to give them their First Home Keys! This one was pretty special for me. The poor kids... We had a rough time getting them a house. Bad inspections, outbid by cash investors and even this really sh*tty agent and her greedy mom that did us dirty! Man they REALLY pi**ed me off and got just a little taste of Muncie Southside! 😁 But through the ups and downs I really came to care about these young folks and completely fell in love with that little blonde headed kid of theirs! I think he kinda likes me too! I did everything I could for these guys and we finally got them a good solid starter home that they can grow into and be proud of! I know they are happy and I couldn't possibly be happier for them!

Well, I think I've officially lost my mind with this real estate stuff! But I can't help it! I love it!
Going to do THREE open houses at the SAME TIME Sunday 1-3 to try to close out the Meridian North at Springhurst DR Horton community! 779 Carson is the model home with all the model home bells and whistles and has been slashed by $25 grand!! It was a great day for my girl Martha yesterday too! Man this lady is too cool! She comes to Indy from Portland Oregon (among other places), just got back from hiking in the Rockies w her son when we found her house and the day before closing she had just gotten back for checking off a couple of bucket list items. Went to Iceland to see the northern lights and then to Ireland to "drink lots of Irish beer in Dublin"! She's in her 70s!! I wanna be like Martha when I grow up!

It was a great two days for Scott and Shirley. They closed on their old house yesterday and then after today's closing they got their new home keys! They are gonna share their new big house with some extended family that I have gotten to know and love... Cameron, Delaney, Janis, all of em! Just good Americans and I'm happy as could be for them!

Closing days are great days when handing first home keys to young folks like Zoe! 22 yrs old and buying her 1st home! This super cool old bungalow on the southside was the first house we looked and and she fell in love with it immediately! It even came fully furnished right down to the plants!
