4–0 in Milwaukee. But the record doesn’t tell the real story.

This weekend, our 2029 team went up to Milwaukee for the Puma NXT Circuit and handled business.

What stood out most wasn’t just the wins.
It was the way these boys responded when the pressure got heavy.

In the championship game, we gave up a 10 point lead.
Then found ourselves down 3 with just 8 seconds left.

That’s when Gavin stepped up and buried a huge three to force overtime.

And in overtime?
One of our guys knocked down a free throw.
Then Gavin hit the game winner from deep to close it out.

Cold blooded.

That’s the kind of moment kids remember forever.

But truthfully, the best part of the weekend wasn’t only what happened on the court.

It was the time together off the court too.
Bowling. Lunch. Dinner. Pool. Watching March Madness. Laughing. Competing. Building chemistry.

That’s what makes teams close.
That’s what makes memories last.

Proud of every one of these boys for stepping up all weekend.
And grateful to be part of it.

What a blessing of a weekend.

We did something this weekend most teams never do.

Yesterday, this same team beat us comfortably.
18 points. No debate.

Today… different story.

Same opponent.
Same court.
Very different outcome.

Because something shifted.

Focus sharpened.
Effort elevated.
And when the moment asked the question these boys answered it.

Championship secured.

I could not be more proud of this group. Not just for the win… but for how quickly they learned what most never do

Adversity is not the end of the story it is the setup.

Grateful to be on the sideline with them.

We are just getting started.

A couple years ago, silver was boring.
$20–$25 an ounce. Ignored.

Today? Over $90.

Will it stay there forever? No.
But I wouldn’t be shocked to see $120 before this cycle is done.

And when silver corrects, it won’t crawl back to the old “normal” of $15–$22.

Thank You for the Flood of Birthday Love 🙏

I read every post. Every message. Every text and call. And I’m humbled.

You didn’t have to take the time—but you did. And for that, I’m extremely grateful.

Yesterday wasn’t flashy. It wasn’t loud. But it was perfect.

☀️ Breakfast with my son Brady.
🍽️ Early dinner with Gavin and Cordelia.
🎬 A movie night with them and the Bredthauer gang.
💡 And 3 hours spent doing what fills my cup most—helping others.

It was a day that reminded me: God provides more gifts, blessings, and miracles than we ever deserve. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thanks to my mom—who brought me into this world the natural way (all 11.5 pounds of me—sorry about that, Mom). And thank you Jenny for the birthday call.

Today, my son Gavin turns 15—and I couldn’t be prouder of the young man he’s becoming.

He’s got a heart for Jesus, a mind built for business, and a wit that can light up a room. He’s sharp, curious, and already showing the work ethic of someone twice his age. Future entrepreneur? Without a doubt.

He’s also the reigning king of Minecraft—just ask him about chicken jockeys and watch his eyes light up. He talks about Miami University like he’s already packing his bags, and when he’s not balling out on the court, he’s surrounded by friends or dreaming of our next vacation.

Gavin, you’re hilarious, smart, driven, and grounded. Watching you grow into the man you’re meant to be is one of my greatest joys.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Happy 15th Birthday, buddy. Love you more than you know. Keep shining.

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY TO MY SON, BRADY

17 years ago, God gave me a front-row seat to watch a boy grow into a young man—one moment at a time.

Football. Lacrosse. Late-night laughs over How I Met Your Mother. Deep-dive dinner talks. Disney adventures. Screaming for the Colts and Pacers. Yelling at the TV when Kentucky’s on a run. Every second has been a chapter in a story I’d read a thousand times over.

It’s moving faster than I ever imagined. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Here’s to more movies, more meals, more memories—and to a young man who makes fatherhood the greatest role I’ll ever play.

Happy Birthday, Brady. You’re not just growing up—you’re becoming someone the world needs.
