Is your dishwasher stinky or not working well? Before calling a repair person, try cleaning the filter! I recently learned that this is a way to prolong the life of your dishwasher. You should be able to see through the filter. Pro tip: soak it in vinegar and scrub gently with a toothbrush to take care of the scum.
