While working at a substance abuse rehabilitation facility, this man taught me the impact that even the simplest gesture can have on a person’s day, week or life. This could possibly be the most important lesson I’ve ever learned. Growing up in northern Arizona, I had many other lessons to learn. As a general contractor and a real estate investor, my father gave me hands-on experience in both industries. He taught me the importance of knowing the foundation and construction of a property before considering it for an investment. From these early years real estate became ingrained in me. *Matt earned a BA in Business Management from Northern Arizona University, after which he moved to Denver (where he worked at the rehabilitation center). After eight years in Colorado, he and his wife, Laura, decided they wanted a new city to call home. The Vigils packed up their two boys and went on a 35-state journey looking at multiple cities and towns in each state. Matt and Laura fell in love with Madison and soon discovered it matched their financial needs and was an investment they could grow into… especially with their third son being born here.
