💜 Building Something Bigger Than Me 💜

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about legacy.

I’m not just trying to build a nonprofit—I’m trying to build something that will outlive me.

A place where veterans can find peace.
A place where people in recovery can start over.
A place where those returning home after incarceration can rebuild their lives with dignity.
A place that reminds people that no matter what their past looks like, hope is never out of reach.

This journey hasn’t been easy. There have been setbacks, disappointments, and days when I wondered how it would all come together. But every obstacle has reminded me why I started.

I’m building Open Hearts Recovery & Reentry Village not for recognition, but for the people whose lives will be changed because someone chose to believe in them. Because everyone deserves a second chance, a safe place to heal, and an opportunity to build a better future.

This is bigger than me.
This is my legacy.
This is my purpose.
