NOW HIRING – LAWN MAINTENANCE CREW MEMBER / DRIVER

Mathews Family Landscaping & Concrete is looking to add 1–2 dependable employees to our lawn maintenance division.

We are looking for someone who can step in and contribute immediately. Lawn/landscape experience is highly preferred, and applicants with experience operating commercial mowing equipment will receive priority.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid driver’s license – MANDATORY
• Reliable transportation to work
• Dependable and able to show up on time every day
• Able to work outdoors and perform physical labor
• Lawn maintenance or landscaping experience highly preferred
• Experience with commercial zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, etc. preferred
• Ability to safely drive a truck and trailer is a major plus
• Must be able to work well as part of a crew

Full-time, steady work with an established landscaping company. Competitive pay based on experience and ability.

We have immediate openings and are looking to hire the right person ASAP.

Another landscape project completed. We couldn’t be happier with how this one turned out.

This homeowner was looking for a clean, modern landscape with minimal maintenance. We installed new edging, decorative black granite stone, and a carefully selected mix of shrubs and ornamental trees to complement the home’s architecture. The side yard was also cleaned up to give the entire property a finished look.

It’s amazing how much curb appeal a thoughtfully designed landscape can add.

Not every project is about making a property look better.

Sometimes it’s about fixing what was built wrong in the first place.

This home had an outdated landscape in the front, but the biggest issue was hidden in the backyard. A retaining wall that had been installed years ago was failing, allowing erosion around the pool because it wasn’t built with proper drainage.

We removed the failing wall, corrected the grade, installed the proper drainage system behind the wall, and rebuilt it the right way to protect the pool area for years to come.

While we were there, we completely transformed the front of the home by removing the overgrown landscape and creating a clean, timeless design featuring:

• Custom retaining wall
• New ornamental trees and shrubs
• Fresh premium mulch
• Complete hydroseed lawn renovation
• New backyard retaining wall with proper drainage
• Grading improvements to help control erosion

We were hired by Family Medical Centers to address a memorial brick paver walkway that had become uneven and was creating a trip hazard for patients and visitors.

Our team removed the existing walkway and installed a new concrete sidewalk to create a smooth, safe, and dependable walking surface.

To preserve the meaning behind the space, we carefully reset the original memorial bricks along the borders—keeping the history while improving safety and function.
