Average rate from Bankrate today May 30th is around 7.17% on a 30 year fixed mortgage.

Its been another tough week for interest rates.

Im seeing the purchase market slow a tad with days on market increasing for our listings.

The buyer pool out there is big but affordability its getting crunched. People on average are not buying more goods/services they are buying less goods for double or triple the price.

A lot of what I have been following and reading is hopefully calling for softening in rates towards third or fourth quarter of this year which we desperately need.

Im extremely interested to hear what you all think about what you think our rates will do in the next 6 months!?

I was thinking about it this morning and I did a little quick math.

Last year 2023 we referred out over $3 million dollars worth of business to local businesses out side of real estate sales and mortgage deals.

This is business that went to local partners and companies in Clay county.

It could be roofers, caterers, plumbers, graphic designers, insurance agents, security systems, groomers, chiropractic, lawn care, cpa, photographers, you name it I probably know a guy/girl.
