🏡✨ REAL ESTATE IS A MARATHON, NOT A SPRINT. ✨🏡

And sometimes, the best things really are worth waiting for. ❤️

We are celebrating TWO closings for some incredibly special clients who we have had the privilege of working with for nearly a year and a half!

Their goal was a big one: sell their current home and find the forever home that was truly meant for them. Over that time, we toured countless homes, wrote multiple offers, faced some disappointments, changed directions, and had plenty of moments where I reminded them of something I truly believe:

Everything happens for a reason.

Even when we listed their home, patience was part of the process. We needed the right buyer to come along—not just any buyer.

And then suddenly… everything started falling into place. ❤️

The right buyer came along for their home, and at almost the exact same time, we found the home they had been waiting for all along.

They closed on the sale of their home last Thursday… and yesterday, we closed on their new forever home! 🥹🏡🔑 After everything it took to get here, I truly could not be happier for them.

This is also one of those relationships where somewhere along the way, “clients” turned into friends who feel more like family. When you spend this much time together touring homes, strategizing, problem-solving, celebrating wins and working through the hard parts, you build a relationship that goes far beyond a real estate transaction. One brought the buyers for my clients’ home, and the other represented the sellers of the home my clients purchased. I had never worked with either of them before, but both were absolutely wonderful to work with.

That kind of communication, cooperation and mutual respect makes a WORLD of difference in how smoothly a transaction comes together.

At the end of the day, we may represent different sides, but when everyone communicates well, works together, problem-solves instead of creating unnecessary roadblocks, and keeps their clients’ best interests at heart, that is when we can truly get everyone to the closing table feeling good about the outcome.

I’m so grateful to have built two new professional relationships through these transactions, and I sincerely hope we have the opportunity to work together again in the future. That is one of the best parts of this business. ❤️

Apparently, real estate does NOT care if you have shampoo in your hair. 😂🏡🫧

Friday night around 8:00, I was right in the middle of a hair appointment — literally at the shampoo bowl — when I got the news that one of my first-time home buyers had an ACCEPTED OFFER! 🎉

So naturally, everything stopped.

Hair wet. Cape on. Told my hair guy to hang tight - I MUST make this call!! 😂 I grabbed my phone and made one of my absolute favorite calls in real estate:

“YOUR OFFER WAS ACCEPTED!” 🥹🏡❤️

She was SO excited, I was SO excited for her, and I can honestly say I’ve never been happier to interrupt a hair wash in my life (and we all know that's the BEST part about visiting the salon!).

Over the years, I’ve made these calls from the car, at dinner, on vacation, during family events and in the middle of who-knows-what else — because when that call comes in, you make it. But the shampoo bowl was definitely a first. 😂

And today, we’re at the house for the home inspection! 🔎🏡 One step closer for this sweet first-time buyer, and I’m so excited to see where this one goes.
