After days of trying to find the right words, here we are.
One week ago today, we lost Wayne.
Wayne was genuine, honest, hardworking, and meticulous in everything he did. He took pride in his work and treated every property as if it were his own. He was never one to cut corners, but he was always looking for ways to save our clients money when he could.
Many of our longtime clients would specifically ask for Wayne by name. They trusted him because he was dependable, thorough, and always gave an honest assessment. If Wayne said it needed to be fixed, it needed to be fixed. If he said he could make it work, he would.
Wayne might have complained when you gave him a job he didn't want to do, but somehow that made him even more lovable—because after telling you exactly how he felt about it, he'd go do it anyway. Every single time.
For more than 7 years, Wayne was part of the TDM family. He helped maintain hundreds of homes and made a lasting impact on our team, our clients, and the tenants we serve.
The office isn't the same without him. The phone calls, the stories, the grumbling, the laughter, and the quality of work he brought every day are things we'll never forget.
You are deeply missed, Wayne.
