My name is Telicia Wade Perry, a real estate enthusiast with a lifelong love affair with the world of properties and homes. Born in 1974, my journey began in a crib nestled within the walls of a bustling real estate office, setting the stage for a lifetime passion in the industry. After school, my playground consisted of old blank contracts and checks, fostering a unique childhood where the founda
tion for my real estate career was laid. On days when I went out with my Dad, we would walk miles of properties planning where roads would be built and looking at possible building sites. We spent weekends spelunking in wild caves and sometimes mapping them. I spent the summers working in the office typing letters and sending out brochures. Graduating from Flippin in 1992, I set sail to Arkansas State University Jonesboro, diving into the world of International Business Studies. I am a real estate professional with a global perspective, holding an esteemed degree in International Business Studies from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. The corporate world beckoned, but my heart yearned for travel sans business suits. From the vast landscapes of the USA to the sandy beaches of Mexico, the cultural richness of Spain, the Down Under adventures in Australia, and the tropical allure of the Caribbean – I've explored them all. My love for travel led me to open my home to exchange students from around the globe, hosting ten in total. My heart finds solace in the seas, as cruising becomes both a hobby and a way to explore the world. Family plays a significant role in my life, with two wonderful children. One is currently navigating the challenges of college life, while the other has embraced the workforce. This dynamic blend of personal and professional experiences shapes my understanding of diverse real estate needs. Animals hold a special place in my heart, and my menagerie boasts a diverse array – from dogs and cats to parrots, sugar gliders, bearded dragons, horses, goats, sheep, rabbits, geckos, hedgehogs, raccoons, possums, skunks, and more. In 1999, I officially entered the world of real estate, joining my parents' office where I obtained my broker's license and handled rentals and the everyday issues that come with being an agent. I was the “go-to” to help fix things from property descriptions to owner financing options. In 2013, the path led me to ERA Doty Real Estate, a place where I've thrived and grown and began my property tours spanning the top third of Arkansas. ERA Doty provided the tools and classes to feed my hunger for knowledge, allowing me to soar in the industry. I've had the privilege of working with incredible individuals, amassing awards such as Realtor of the Year 2021, Top 1% of Selling Brokers in the Nation for Units Sold, and consistent recognition in the top tiers of ERA's selling brokers since 2015. Locally I’ve been awarded volume awards every year since I’ve come to ERA Doty. My dedication to the real estate industry has been recognized with multiple local MLS awards, a testament to my commitment and expertise. As a proud member of the Arkansas Realtors Association (ARA) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR), I actively contribute to the real estate community. In 2024, I was honored to be invited to attend the Graduate Realtor Leadership Academy (GRLA), marking a milestone in my commitment to professional development. Certifications such as AWHD and C2EX underscore my dedication to excellence, and I am actively pursuing additional certifications to enhance my skills further. Volunteering is not just a checkbox; it's a way of life. I've dedicated my time to teaching Spanish to local elementary schools, fostering language skills and cultural understanding in the next generation. Beyond the realm of real estate, my diverse skill set includes achieving a black belt in Tae
Kwon Do and years of teaching martial arts. These experiences instill discipline, focus, and a tenacious spirit that I bring to every facet of my life. Community involvement is not just a checkbox but a commitment. Serving our local MLS board for seven years, with four as the President, and currently serving as the President of the NCBOR Board in 2024, I believe in giving back to the real estate community. In my pursuit of continuous improvement, I find joy in giving back to the community and making a positive impact. From volunteering as a firefighter and EMT to actively participating in community events, my commitment extends to various spheres, creating a well-rounded approach to life and
real estate. As I continue to make waves in the real estate world, my journey remains marked by a playful spirit, a love for travel, and a genuine passion for helping people find their dream homes. With numerous accolades to my name, I look forward to many more years of turning real estate dreams into reality. In addition to my colorful real estate journey, I've dedicated substantial time to community service, embodying the spirit of giving back and making a positive impact. For several years, I served as a volunteer firefighter, EMT-B, and later as a Paramedic, providing emergency medical services to those in need. My commitment extended to a role at BRMC, where I worked as a Paramedic, further solidifying my dedication to the well-being of the community. When it comes to our local schools, I eagerly step up to the plate, volunteering at ball games, participating in fundraisers, and delivering talks on the significance of a good credit score and the attainability of homeownership. My passion for empowering the younger generation shines through, believing that education and financial literacy pave the way for a brighter future. Beyond the realm of real estate and community service, I have a not-for-profit thrift store close to my heart. This initiative focuses on providing school clothes and supplies to kids and families in need, underscoring my commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those around me. In my younger days, I embraced adrenaline-fueled pursuits such as water skiing, competing in slalom, trick, and jump competitions. My adventurous spirit also led me to the dirt track, where I drove race cars with enthusiasm. Delving into the depths, I hold a scuba certification, exploring the underwater world. My philosophy is rooted in a perpetual drive to “do better and be better”. I firmly believe that one can never know enough, and there is always a better way. This commitment to continuous improvement fuels my endeavors, both in real estate and in my contributions to the community. As I navigate the ever-evolving landscape of life, my aim is to leave a
positive impact, one adventure, and one act of service at a time. Embracing a genuine passion for serving others, my focus lies in supporting active and retired military personnel as well as first-time homebuyers. It's a calling that brings immense fulfillment but also presents unique challenges, especially when competing against cash and conventional offers. Yet, challenges are merely opportunities to
innovate and think outside the box. In this dynamic real estate landscape, creativity becomes a key ally. I'm committed to finding inventive solutions to ensure my clients, especially those with military backgrounds and first-time homebuyers, have every advantage in the market. From exploring alternative financing options to leveraging strategic negotiation techniques, I strive to carve out pathways that lead to successful home purchases. The heart of my approach lies in going beyond the conventional, always seeking a better way to take care of my clients. Every client is more than just a transaction; they become a part of my journey. I consider them not just clients, but friends. This personal connection is the driving force behind my dedication, ensuring that each step in the real estate process is tailored to their unique needs and dreams. In a world where transactions can sometimes feel transactional, my mission is to infuse warmth and sincerity into every interaction. It's not just about buying or selling a property; it's about facilitating life-changing moments. Whether guiding military heroes to their dream homes or assisting first-time buyers in embarking on their homeownership journey, I am committed to making each experience memorable and meaningful. So, when challenges arise, and the odds seem stacked, I thrive on the opportunity to innovate, support, and ultimately make dreams a reality. Because in my world, success isn't just about closing deals; it's about forging lasting connections and ensuring that every client feels not just heard, but truly understood and cared for.
