Let me tell you about a town that grew into itself 🌿

Hi, I’m LuEllen Redding, the other half of the Carver + Redding Team at Fernhill Realty.

I’ve called the Shoals home for 24 years, and watching it evolve has been one of the greatest privileges.

For years, this was a place people grew up in—but not always a place they stayed. I watched college students race out of town after graduation, and I watched many of my own friends do the same after our time at UNA.

We were known as a retirement town, a place to slow down.

But somewhere along the way, the story changed.

Today, people are leaving bigger cities to build their lives here. They're choosing Florence to raise their families, start businesses, and put down roots.

It's easy to see why. Florence offers the perfect blend of culture, music, art, education, and community. It's a place where opportunity meets hometown charm, and there's truly something here for everyone.

Thanks to the support of this incredible community, 357 children have been helped and 4,870 services have been provided to children and families throughout Northwest Alabama.
