so busy sweating waiting on fall to come that I forgot to post my hootenanny recap. I love Seven Points and our community! Grateful to Southern Native for continuing to put this on year after year and bringing people together for good music, food, and hangs.

Gracie had a snowcone & did lots of silly dancing.

Seeing everyone supporting and visiting all the incredible spots at 7 points makes me so excited for the future. If you guys missed Hootenanny … well you missed out, and i hope to see you next year!

August in the Shoals, you were a good one.

Long summer evenings, time on the water, good food, familiar faces, and all the little things that make this place feel like home.

I’m always a little sad to see summer wind down, but football season, porches that are actually bearable to sit on, downtown Florence in the fall, and hopefully some cooler temperatures soon. Like… right now, please?!

Here’s to September, and one of my favorite seasons in the Shoals. I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one.

Would you live here, or is a cabin not for you? (I mean if it’s not… I’m sorry for your loss)

When it comes to waterfront, the details make all the difference. This cabin was built in 1988 and has the charm and smell (you just have to be here to get it… it’s an incredible wood cabin smell, and it lives in my summer memories… it’s a good thing and I’ll die on this hill) that is baked into my core memories, and if you’re anything like me, yours too.
