🔥 Burn Ban Update – April 28, 2025 🔥

The Wilson County Commissioners Court has decided NOT to lift the current burn ban.

The burn ban, originally issued on March 10, 2025, remains in effect for 90 days.

What’s allowed during the burn ban:

🍖 BBQ Pits: OK if contained to a BBQ pit or fire ring. Be sure to fully douse coals/ashes with water and dispose of them safely!

🗑️ Trash Burning: Allowed ONLY in a barrel with a screen top. Have a water source nearby!

🔥 Recreational Fires: Campfires and fire pits are allowed if contained in a fire ring. 🚫 No brush pile burning!

Safety Reminders:

🚒 Never leave a fire unattended.

💧 Always have a water source ready.

⚠️ **Violations may result in citations, fines, and penalties.
