🏡 Florida Property Tax Reform Moves Forward
The Florida Realtors® Board of Directors has officially approved the association’s support of Amendment 3, concluding its Governance Meetings following the 2026 Convention & Trade Expo.

If approved by at least 60% of Florida voters, Amendment 3 would make significant changes to Florida’s property tax system, including:
• Increasing the homestead property tax exemption
• Lowering the annual assessment cap on non-homestead properties
• Making additional changes aimed at property tax relief

Property taxes, affordability, and the cost of homeownership continue to be major issues across Florida. Amendment 3 will be an important measure for property owners, local governments, the real estate industry, and Florida voters to understand as we head toward Election Day.
