A lot of buyers think it’s supposed to be hard.

Like you need to see house after house, lose a few, and go through the whole process before you finally find the one.

Haley’s story looked very different.

We met, saw 2 homes… and the second one was it.

There’s always a highlight reel when it comes to conferences. Back in February, that was especially true.
The speakers. The stages. The big moments.

And yes, hearing from Gary Vaynerchuk and Jay Shetty was powerful. 🫶🏻

But the most valuable part for me?

🤫The quieter rooms.

The sessions I chose intentionally—focused on negotiation in high-stakes deals and creating meaningful client experiences. Not flashy, but the kind of work that actually makes a difference where it counts.

One of my favorite moments happened on my last walk back. Another agent stopped me to talk about her niche—serving clients through sign language.

🤯She had no idea my first major was ASL.

One of those full-circle moments that reminded me how much this business is built on connection.

I don’t take time away lightly—but when I do, it’s to come back sharper, more intentional, and better for the people I serve.

One of the biggest misconceptions in real estate is that you should wait until you’re “ready” to reach out.

In reality, the most valuable conversations happen earlier—when there’s space to think, plan, and make decisions with intention.

I see my role as more than just facilitating a transaction. It’s about being a resource, a guide, and someone my clients can trust at every stage, not just when they’re actively moving.

I truly believe the end of a transaction is just the beginning of the relationship and these wonderful clients are a perfect example of that.

They were decisive thoughtful and clear about what they wanted which made working together such a great experience. The first homes were easy no’s but when the right ones came along you could see it immediately. Watching clients find a home they truly love never gets old.
