🏠 A CUT TRUSS FOR A TOILET PIPE? 🚨

During a recent home inspection, we discovered an engineered roof truss that had been cut to make room for a plumbing pipe serving a toilet.

Engineered trusses are designed to work as a complete structural system. Cutting or modifying a truss without proper engineering and reinforcement can compromise its structural capacity.

🏠💧 What’s Hiding Above Your Ceiling?

During a recent home inspection, we discovered significant signs of water intrusion around the attic windows. The photos show moisture-related deterioration and staining to the wood framing and sheathing around the window openings.
The moisture meter also indicated elevated moisture levels, confirming that this wasn’t simply an old cosmetic stain—it warranted further investigation to determine the source and extent of the intrusion.
