Despite many predictions at the end of 2022 that the real estate market would crash in 2023, home prices are not coming down. After a relatively mild pullback on prices, values have pushed back up. Even with the unfavorable outlook on interest rates, we're moving back into a typical home-value-growth environment which, on average, is about 4% annually.

During the fourth quarter of last year, some housing experts projected home prices were going to crash in 2023.
