Mississippi REALTORS® were hard at work representing the Magnolia State during the 2026 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings and Capitol Hill visits in Washington, D.C. over the past week, and here are the highlights!
MAR joined thousands of attendees from across the nation to learn more about how NAR is working with lawmakers to better the real estate industry, as well as spent an entire day meeting with Mississippi legislators at our nation’s capital. Keith Henley, Betty Jo Ison, and Pam Powers were recognized during NAR’s RPAC Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and Keith Henley later represented his home state while speaking as RVP during NAR’s Region 5 Caucus. Our members also contributed to numerous discussions with state associations and NAR leadership during committee meetings and forums, which will help provide new and valuable insights that can help Mississippi REALTORS® throughout the state.
We are so thankful for all of our members who were able to join us in D.C. for this productive and information-packed week!
