Some closings just feel a little extra special. ❤️

A few years ago, I had the privilege of helping this sweet couple sell their home when a job change took them out of town. Since then, a precious granddaughter has been added to their family, and they knew they wanted to be back home and close to her. 🥰

I’m so thankful they trusted me again to help them find their way back. There’s something so special about getting to walk alongside clients through different seasons of life — and sometimes watching God bring things full circle in ways we never could have planned ourselves. ❤️

Keller Williams 6019779411 Some closings are more than just a closing. ❤️

I’ve known this young man’s mother for 35 years. About a year ago, she asked me to help her son purchase his first home. Because she had referred me to another family during a difficult season, her trust meant a great deal to me.

He was a joy to work with, though finding the right house took a HOT minute! 😂 When we finally found “the one,” negotiations became a roller coaster, and after two days of back-and-forth, the deal appeared to be dead.

To make matters more challenging, I was in California at a church retreat—my “spiritual CEUs”! 😂

During a lunch break, I walked around campus and prayed. An idea came to me for restructuring the offer, and I felt it was a God idea. I contacted the lender, who confirmed the numbers would work, then called my client. He said, “Let’s go for it.”

I wasn’t sure it would succeed, but I kept thinking about Luke 5, when the disciples had fished all night and caught nothing. Jesus told them to try again, and Peter responded:

“But at Your word I will…lower the nets again.”
— Luke 5:5

So we restructured the offer, resubmitted it…

AND IT WAS ACCEPTED! 🙌🏻

My client was under contract less than three hours later!

What a reminder that God cares about every area of our lives—even something as ordinary as buying a house. Sometimes we simply have to make room for Him:

Inquire.
Listen.
Obey.

Then be willing to put your nets back into the water…

“At Your word.”

I’m so thankful I got to be part of this young man’s first home purchase—and even more thankful for the reminder that sometimes the answer comes when we trust God enough to try again. ❤️🏡
