It has been several years now since I purchased my first investment property. I had spent 3 years renovating my first home in downtown Owosso and took the profit from selling that and purchased this duplex that needed A LOT of love but had good bones. Little did I know I was about a month pregnant for Sophie when this large renovation undertaking began. And what happened next from when I purchased this to when it was completed changed the entire trajectory of my life for the better. It was a hard season, but so worth it because life will always be 'hard' a times. But the question is do you want those hardships to pay someone else (working 9-5) or do you want those hardships to pay you directly and for the rest of your life??
