Since this sweet family was relocating from out of town, I wanted their welcome to feel special from the very start. So I put together a little basket with local favorites — bites from Kingfisher Seafood Restaurant and Mr Gene's Beans, along with some local finds from The Fairhope Store — so they could get a real taste of their new community before they’d even unpacked a single box. 🌻

But the real joy was everything that led up to that basket sitting on their new welcome mat. I had the privilege of helping this family find their home and guiding them every step of the way, all the way from out of town to the closing table. Watching a family walk into a place they can finally call their own — that’s the moment that makes this job so special, and it’s exactly why I do what I do. 🏡✨

Welcome home, y’all. So grateful to have been part of your journey, and even more excited to call you neighbors. 💛

Baldwin County residents: The Baldwin County Grants Department will host two Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG DR) Homeownership Assistance Program (HAP) Public Meetings to help residents and community partners prepare to apply for the HAP. The application portal opens September 21, 2026.
