🔥 California Fair Plan… what’s REALLY going on?

If you live in a rural area, this is something you need to understand right now 👇

The #1 question I get all the time is:
“Can you get me OFF the Fair Plan?”

And honestly… I get it.
People are dealing with:
• Non-renewals
• Policy cancellations
• Massive premium increases

It’s frustrating and it feels like it came out of nowhere.

Here’s the truth most people don’t realize ⬇️

Insurance companies have paid out huge losses from major fires like the Caldor Fire and Dixie Fire. Because of that, they go back to the state and request rate increases… and that’s when those letters start showing up in your mailbox.

Even the California Fair Plan isn’t immune to this.
When they pay out claims from fire damage, premiums go up there too.

🔥 That’s why you’re seeing these big jumps year to year, especially in rural areas.

But here’s something important…

I had the absolute pleasure of helping the most amazing couple purchase their very first home, and I truly can’t say enough great things about them. 💛

We first met at an open house in Placerville, and from there, their journey led them to the beautiful community of Ione, just minutes from one of their favorite golf spots, Castle Oaks Golf Club ⛳️

Let me tell you… this town is something special. The neighborhood is incredible, and the drive out there? One of my all-time favorites. Taking South Shingle Road to Latrobe is just stunning every time. 🌄

This was also a special transaction for me because it was my first time working with a Section 184 Tribal Home Loan, and I’m so grateful for the experience and opportunity to help guide my clients through it.

Helping first-time homebuyers is always meaningful, but being part of this journey was something truly unforgettable.

Buying your first home is already a lot…

And now you’re hearing things like:
“New buyer forms are required”

I get why that feels overwhelming.
