This is how you close out a week! The tale of two stories are finally closed. The first home was a neighbor buying his neighbors home all cash and closed in 14 days. The second home was the side of real estate no one talks about. In and out of escrow 5 times (new record for me!) but through constant communication, persistence, and grit this great Sacramento home sold at a price everyone said we couldn’t get! Lastly, this great Tahoe chalet only took 16 days on market to go under contract! Who’s next? Let’s keep this year rolling!!!!!

It’s never easy selling a home of a deceased family member. I was referred to Kristen by a previous client to sell her mother’s home who recently passed. We were able to strategically position the home to get multiple offers and sell 15k over list price. This assured a quick smooth escrow which was definitely needed during this trying time.

Tale of two stories here. The first home had multiple offers and ended up over list. After the first buyer backed out the second buyer filled in quickly. After inspections we had to lower the list price dramatically. What the price doesn’t reflect is we still sold over list because it was an agent who bought the home herself and didn’t take a commission. The second property was a unique piece of land that had 7 offers and went 45k over. From signing the listing agreement to closing date was 21 days.

I was worried how 2026 was going to start since I was laid up with my total knee replacement to start the year.
