Another project is underway! We’ve signed the sales agreement for our next house in Ford City.
This one will be a bit different—our main goal is to give the exterior a fresh new look and make improvements that help brighten up the neighborhood.

At the same time, we’ve been hard at work next door renovating an older home that’s on track to become a mid-summer rental.

Bring home spring! Dave Klukan — who ran a beloved local greenhouse in the 1990s — is back, sharing his plant expertise and passion at the rear of 1615 5th Ave (the former Brightmyers greenhouse).

🌸This pilot pop-up is outdoors, honor-system purchases, and competitively priced. We’ve been testing infrastructure all winter and spring; thank you for your patience as we work out indoor kinks. Expect limited stock for now — come early for the best selection! 🌸

What a great turnout and volunteering event in Ford City! Our team helped out planting new trees along the Riverfront trail. We can’t wait to see how these trees turn out in years to come 🌳🪾

Congratulations to Ford City on receiving the Main Street Facade Grant through the DCED! 🎉

As a business and real estate development company, wins like these are incredibly encouraging. Programs that support façade improvements help businesses create a more modern, inviting atmosphere while strengthening the entire community. 🏢✨

Our company has already invested tens of thousands of dollars into Ford City, and seeing continued momentum like this reinforces our commitment to the area. Ford City Borough is proud to announce that the Borough has been awarded $100,000 through DCED’s Main Street Matters Program to launch a Borough-wide Façade Improvement Program!

This program will provide 50/50 matching grants (up to $5,000 per property) to help local businesses and property owners improve storefronts, signage, lighting, and more. With private investment, this effort is expected to generate over $200,000 in total improvements across our community.

This initiative was developed in 2025 through a partnership between the Borough and the Ford City Area Business and Professional Association, and reflects strong local demand for reinvestment in our commercial corridors.

This is a big step toward improving curb appeal, supporting our small businesses, and continuing the revitalization of Ford City!

This grant award brings the tally to $2,578,428 in grant funds received by Ford City Borough in 2026 alone!

Some updates from our friends at NKT Properties this week from the Greenhouse!

S/O to Oliver Pro Wash for getting the front of the building power washed and cleaned from the 5th Ave traffic and winter muck! Did you know they do window cleaning too!

We brought Bruce and his team back from Nestor Home Improvement Painting & Contracting to finish part 2 of the painting project from the fall
✅ Foundation painted
✅ Doors painted

Coming Up next…landscaping and minor concrete repairs in the coming weeks. This building needed a refresh coming into town!
