Do new construction homes need to be inspected? YES!! New doesn't always mean perfect and functional. This recent inspection had damaged countertops, poorly installed HVAC, a roof leak, and a damaged sewer line just to name a few of the defects. Pictured is the damaged sewer line with a broken pipe and rock intrusion. This is a costly repair which shouldn't be on you to fix.

Most think you only need a home inspection when you're buying or selling a house.
This home owner hired us to inspect the house because they're considering selling in the coming years and don't want any surprises when it comes time.
We found a galvanized pipe completely broken off and leaking in the crawlspace for who knows how many years. Mold has grown and soil has washed away under the foundation.
