🌽🎨 Forest Grove Corn Roast & Chalk Art Festival!

One of the things I love about the Forest Grove area is seeing the community come together for events like this!

I had a great time at the Forest Grove Corn Roast & Chalk Art Festival, hosted by the Forest Grove & Cornelius Chamber of Commerce. From the incredible chalk art to the corn roast, local businesses, and everyone who came out to enjoy the day, there was so much happening!

I’m proud to be a member of the Forest Grove & Cornelius Chamber of Commerce and to be a part of a community that supports local businesses and creates events that bring neighbors together.

Here’s a little look at the day! 🌽🎨

🏡❤️ THIS is what community looks like!

The very first Forest Grove Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale is officially in the books, and getting to watch this video brings all of the excitement from that day right back!

What started as an idea to create something fun for our community turned into neighbors opening their driveways, families spending the day treasure hunting, kids running their own stands, local support, new connections being made, and so many people simply enjoying the day together.

And THAT is exactly what I hoped this event would become. ❤️

We had an incredible turnout, participants who sold out, shoppers who made it their mission to visit nearly every sale, lots of great treasures finding new homes, and so much positive feedback from both shoppers and participants.

But my favorite part was seeing the community behind it all.

People stopping to talk. Neighbors getting to know one another. Families making memories. Shoppers laughing their way through the participant yard sign challenge. And so many people coming together to support something brand new.

These are the kinds of traditions that make a community feel like home. 🏡

Thank you to every participant who took a chance on this first year, every shopper who came out, Papa Floyd's Doughnuts for generously supporting our participants, the Forest Grove Police Department for sharing neighborhood safety information and everyone who helped spread the word and make this event possible.

And this is only the beginning. 🥹❤️

My hope is to continue growing the Forest Grove Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale year after year and make it even bigger, better, and more fun for our community.

If you missed us this year, we hope you'll join us next time!

See you next year, Forest Grove! 👋🏻

💬 And if you ever need help navigating the local real estate market or have questions about buying or selling, I’m always happy to be a resource. 😉🙌🏻🏡

A HUGE thank you to everyone who entered, and especially to all of you who went the extra mile earning bonus entries by visiting participating homes, snapping photos with the yard signs, and sharing in the fun. 📸🏡

Seeing how many of you turned the yard sign challenge into your own little treasure-hunting adventure was one of my favorite unexpected parts of our first year!

🎁 Congratulations to our two Summer Bundle winners! I hope you enjoy your prizes and get lots of use out of them for the rest of the summer! ☀️🧊

And with that, we've officially wrapped up one more fun piece of the very first Forest Grove Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale!

🍩 Thank You to Our Official Doughnut Sponsor! 🍩

I'm so excited to share that Papa Floyd's Doughnuts is the Official Doughnut Sponsor for the very first Annual Forest Grove Neighborhood Garage Sale!

On the morning of the event, I'll be personally delivering a half dozen of Papa Floyd's light, fluffy, delicious mini doughnuts to each participating household before the garage sale begins, all generously donated by Papa Floyd's. Their support is helping make this first year extra special, and I'm incredibly grateful for their partnership.

If you're planning to spend the day treasure hunting, why not kick off your morning with a stop at Papa Floyd's Doughnuts? They open at 7:00 AM, making it the perfect place to grab a fresh cup of coffee and some warm, delicious mini doughnuts before heading out to explore all the garage sales.

A huge thank you to Papa Floyd's for investing in our community and supporting this event. I hope you'll consider stopping by to show them some love while you're out enjoying the garage sale weekend! 🍩❤️🏡
