CUP AND CONE OPENS TODAY - Happy 50th Anniversary! 🍦 🍧 🎉

Then and Now
Originally the Cup and Cone was a service station built in 1927 by Carl Mattlin. Julius Hogan also operated the station. Later on, George Goulette ran a barbershop out of the building. And according to the Cup and Cone website, it has also been a taco shop and a record store.

In 1973, Glen Johnstone opened Cup and Cone, and it’s been run by various family members ever since. This picture is ca. 1950. The LaCroix Café pictured across the street is now the "Burger Bar."

Pictured are Lorraine Billingsley (Hogan) and her father, Julius Hogan. Just behind the building is Hogan's Grocery.
