I successfully protested the District Appraisal value of my home and actually got them to re-evaluate my entire subdivision! They changed the valuations and the new correct values for myself and my neighbors were reflected this morning when I checked the website. :)

Just a friendly reminder...
If you are like me and own a home in Texas, then you may have received a crazy 2019 tax appraisal from your County Appraisal District. Don’t forget to protest the appraisal if you don’t believe it’s a fair, true market value! You can protest online, or like I did and personally visit to the appraisal office.
