This is a bit of good news for those being affected by the fires in California. Glad to see the commissioner step in and enact this moratorium on insurance coverage cancellation.

Our prayers go out to all those impacted.

The California Insurance Commission has barred insurance carriers from canceling or failing to renew policies in areas affected by the Palisades and Eaton fires until January 2026.
