Waypoint's David Katz was at last week's groundbreaking for The Collins, the 457-unit community coming to Ziegler and Harmony in Fort Collins' Union Park neighborhood. Long before shovels hit the ground, David chaired the Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Commission when this project came through for review.
Plans on paper, then a stadium of dirt, and eventually 457 homes. It's a good day when you get to stand in the middle of that.

We're a month out, Ram Country! Thursday, August 27 at Canvas Stadium (New Belgium Porch), from 5:30 to 9pm, it's time to lace up for the shortest, silliest, most worthwhile race on the calendar.

The course breakdown: roughly one lap around the track, or one very committed walk to the beer tent. It is not a serious athletic undertaking. It is, however, a very serious way to support a great cause!
