The main lodge was built in the 1930s and operated as a motor court and restaurant for decades. Later, the historic building was converted to a private residence, and an atrium and two sunrooms were added on to expand the space. In 2005 – 2007 eight duplex cabins – housing a total of 16 guest rooms – and a classroom were added to host participants in outdoor education programs. Over the years, the

space has operated nightly rentals, restaurants and catering, and group tours (with a focus on outdoor education). Annual revenue from the various business ventures we have record of – between 2003 to 2021 – ranges from a low of around $200,000 (during the COVID pandemic) to $1,798,000 per year.
