Edmond High School. David participated in athletics and music programs while there. Outside of school, he worked in the family business in commercial roofing. David received an athletic scholarship to Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa. After college, David joined the Army as a Warrant Officer helicopter pilot. He served for 11 years and was honorably discharged. He served overseas with the 101st Air
borne Division participating in Desert Storm and other operations as a Huey instructor pilot. David later served with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment as an MH-6 pilot. He received a Bronze Star and other awards for his service both in combat and peacetime. Upon completion of his military service, David has continued flying helicopters in the civilian world. He has flown numerous types of helicopters and airplanes performing such missions as emergency medical service, forest fire fighting in the Rockies, Australia and Chile. He also performs energized electrical utility work and flight operations supporting the U.S. military both overseas and domestically. David has traveled extensively, living in numerous states and countries. He developed a love of real estate as he learned markets in various cities while purchasing and selling his own residential properties. Honed through years of hard work and dedication, he brings a great deal of professionalism, integrity, education, and attention to detail to his real estate career, as well as, a great deal of tenacity. Outside of real estate, David enjoys restoring older cars and trucks, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, kayaking and hiking. David and his spouse of 8 years greatly enjoy their 5 children and 6 wonderful grandchildren.
