This hits…..
You can be the prettiest rose in the world and still not be what someone is looking for. And that does not make you less beautiful, less worthy, or less lovable. Sometimes people simply desire something different and no amount of trying harder can change that.
For a long time, we blame ourselves when we are not chosen. We start questioning our value, wondering what we lacked, what we should have been instead. But the truth is not being someone’s preference is not the same as not being enough. A rose does not lose its beauty just because someone prefers tulips.
And maybe that’s an important kind of freedom, understanding that you do not need to change your nature to be appreciated. The right people will love you for exactly what you are, not for how well you can turn yourself into something else just to be chosen. 💗
