Commercial real estate can be tricky, even overwhelming to navigate at times.

My favorite commercial real estate tip?
Always tour any properties you are considering, and make sure to view the property with an experienced agent. Get an inspector, contractor and environmentalist to check out the property with you in order to get educated input. Make a list of pros and cons, and look over all aspects of the property several times before making an offer. Do not go into the property "blind."

Commercial real estate is a fantastic investment. How can I help you with your goals?

It's sourdough September!

My favorite sourdough sandwich? I love the quintessential grilled cheese and tomato on sourdough.

If I were to practice mastering the art of baking sourdough bread, this is what my process would be:
• Step 1: Create the Starter. Mix equal parts of flour and water to create a natural yeast starter. Allow it to sit at room temperature for several days, feeding it daily, until it becomes bubbly and active.
• Step 2: Mixing the Dough. Combine the mature starter with flour and water, and let it rest to allow the dough to develop gluten and enhance flavor.
• Step 3: Add Salt. Incorporate salt into the dough and knead it thoroughly to distribute the salt evenly.
• Step 4: Bulk Fermentation. Allow the dough to ferment at room temperature, folding it periodically to develop strength and structure.
• Step 5: Shape the Loaf. Divide the dough, pre-shape it, and let it rest before the final shaping.
• Step 6: Proofing. Place the shaped dough in a floured banneton or bowl lined with a cloth to rise slowly and develop its final shape.
• Step 7: Scoring. Before baking, score the dough with a sharp knife to control expansion during baking and achieve beautiful patterns.
• Step 8: Baking. Bake the bread in a preheated oven, ideally with steam, to create a crisp crust and a soft, airy center.
• Step 9: Cooling. Allow the freshly baked sourdough bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing and savoring.

The city is hot but you're cool.

The concrete jungle can get pretty hot in the summer, but you can always find ways to stay cool. Try walking down to the waterfront, most cities have some sort of waterfront area, or consider a boat tour. Even just grabbing some ice cream or Italian ice can help you beat the heat on a hot summer day in the city.

Is the hustle and bustle of city life calling you? Let's discuss condo availability and how I can help.

It's Labor Day! That means a three day weekend for most (although often not for Realtors!) and lots of grillin' and chillin'.

Did you know that New York City's infamous Central Park allows grilling two times a year? An amazing option for a Labor Day picnic in the park for those without the room for a grill at their NYC pads. Other city parks often have similar options, consult your local resources for more information.

Have a terrific Labor Day celebrating with friends and family.
