Free Coffee Sunday™ is on Sep 17th at Wells Coffee, Flagler Village from 10am to 2pm.

Ringon Homes hosted its first Free Coffee Sunday™ in August of 2017, with the intent to connect with people face-to-face and support local coffee shops, all with a single event. In 2021, RH collaborated with Wells Coffee, and since then, has been the exclusive coffee house for Free Coffee Sunday™ events.

Wells Coffee Company recently celebrated their 6th anniversary since first opening their Flagler Village doors in 2013. They’ve remained a staple within the community and a favorite of locals and visitors alike, roasting coffees in-house with a set of standard offerings and a rotation of single origin beans.

#1 on this list is definitely my favorite thing about south Florida in general. #10 only applies to Dade County, while the rest of the list applies to all of south Florida.

King Tides will be at their highest this weekend 🌊🌞🌕 Check out this interactive video as to why it happens!

South Florida beaches are currently experiencing the highest tides of the year, known as "king tides."

Too often, people assume that these majestic creatures 🐊 only hangout in the Everglades or larger fresh bodies of water.

This young gator was 🚔 apprehended in Pompano Beach this morning, location was just north of Atlantic Blvd at a gas station on US1. The closest fresh body of water that I can think of is probably half a mile north at the golf course. We have had a lot of rain due to hurricane Ian, but most probably this gator crawled out of the storm drains.

South Florida is their home and it is so very important to know how to safely coexist with them. Some safety tips to remember-

- do not feed alligators
- Do not approach alligators, if you see one in the road, call FWC 866-392-4286
- definitely do not corner an alligator
- if one does charge you simply run! They are fast but only for short bursts of time

🌊What are "king tides" and when do they occur? 🌊

The "king tides" are higher-than-usual tides which typically occur in Florida in the fall, and which can produce local "sunny day" flooding, or flooding which occurs even though there is no rain.

Anticipated 2022 King Tides:
September 8-13. September 27-30. October 6-12. October 24-30.
