Last night I was deeply moved to attend “Invisible”by the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida at the Broward Center—an unforgettable tribute honoring the 49 lives lost at Pulse in Orlando.

The first half felt like sacred remembrance—music as prayer, grief held with dignity, love expressed with extraordinary precision. Amor Eterno: A Requiem for Pulse was especially moving.

The second half lifted into resilience—a reminder that community is not only how we mourn… it’s how we rise.

To every victim, every family, every survivor—and to everyone who continues to choose love over fear—we remember you. Always.

Incredible evening celebrating community and pride at Take Pride 2026. Honored to be there as my dear lfriend Dennis Dean was recognized as a 2026 honoree, alongside the amazing Robert Griffin and Durrell Watkins from Sunshine Cathedral—where I’ve worshipped for 25 years.

These leaders inspire me every day with their commitment to building a stronger community. What struck me most was the unity in that room—people from all walks of life, different backgrounds, different stories, coming together for one purpose: to celebrate and support each other. That’s what diversity and inclusion truly mean.
